The Halifax County Sheriff's Office Wednesday arrested two Roanoke Rapids area men for a larceny which occurred January 9.

Detective Joe Sealey said Deputy E. Johnson arrested and charged Kristopher Lee Edmundson, 25, and Joseph Wayne Smith, 22, for felony breaking and entering and the subsequent larceny.

The case involved a house break-in in the Roanoke Rapids area in which a 52-inch television was stolen.

Smith was jailed on $10,000 bond and Edmundson was jailed on $5,000 bond. They have February 16 court dates.
