A Roanoke Rapids area man has been charged with larceny of metal following an investigation by a Halifax County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
Wade Carter III was jailed on $500 bond on December 11.
On November 28, Deputy Graham Page responded to Everett School Road in the Roanoke Rapids community after a complaint metal planters and other scrap metal were stolen.
Carter, 47, has a January 10 court date.
