A 24-year-old Greenville man has been charged with identity theft and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense after the victim filed a complaint.
Detective Roy Rooks of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release he charged Jarvis Bullock Thursday.
The investigation by Rooks revealed Bullock stayed at the victim’s residence and obtained and activated a bank card in the victim’s name.
Bullock allegedly used the card in Halifax, Nash and Pitt counties. He was given a $5,000 bond and has a Dec. 9 court date.
