Roanoke Rapids police are looking for a person who stole a central air conditioning unit from a business in the area of Tenth Street and Park Avenue.
Detective Obert Wiltsie said copper pipes were cut and the unit was taken away by vehicle.
Wiltsie said the theft occurred sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday in the early morning hours.

In a statement Wiltsie said the unit was valued at $8,000 and the suspect appeared to have on a hat with a Superman logo.
