The Halifax County Democratic Party and Halifax County Republican Party have scheduled conventions for next week.

Democratic Party

Republican Party

The county Republican party convention will be held Thursday, March 26, at Casa Mia restaurant located at 208 E. South Main Street in Littleton.  

Registration and Dutch treat dinner will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the convention to follow.

Scheduled speakers are incumbent at-large county Commissioner Sammy Webb; Chuck Hasty, a challenger for one of the three at-large county board seats; and Kenneth Bentley Jr., who is running for the House District 27 seat.
