After three games the Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association's Under 12 All-Star team is still alive in the Eastern NC Area Cal-Ripken Tournament in Snow Hill.

After Friday's win over OBX (Outa Banks) 7-2, the Roanoke Rapids all-star team fell to the loser bracket Saturday losing 14-0 to Winterville, but rebounded with 16-6 win over South Edgecombe.

With this being a double elimination tournament, the Roanoke Rapids team is still alive and play again at 3PM today (Sunday) facing Greene County in Snow Hill.

Also with the top four teams advancing to the State tournament, the Roanoke Rapids team bow qualifies for the State tournament.
