The NCHSAA has released the preliminary 2016 Softball Preliminary Championship Brackets and schools have until 12:30 to dispute seeding's or with any questions concerning seeding or standings.

In 2A schools #19 seed Roanoke Rapids 14-6 Will travel to #14 seed Edenton Holmes 15-7 Tuesday at 6PM in the NCHSAA 1st round and will be on WSMY/AM 1400 at 5:45PM

In 1A schools

#26 seed KIPP High 6-7 will travel to #7 North Duplin 16-3.

#30 seed Weldon 4-8 will travel to #3 seed South Creek 19-2.

#32 Northampton County 4-9 will travel to #1 Princeton 16-0
