Roanoke Rapids High school Lady Yellow Jackets #12 senior Hunter Martin is headed to the Braves as she signed her letter of intent to play softball next season at the next level at the University of North Carolina Pembroke.

Martin was surrounded by her family, coaches and teammates Friday afternoon as she signed her letter of intent.

Martin has a running total of 13 homeruns in her four years as a Varsity Yellow Jacket.

RRHS softball head coach stated,"I'm really proud if hunter pursuing her dreams and being a member of the UNC-Pembroke softball team. She has worked hard and has had a good senior season as she leads the team in homeruns."
