"Buffaloe Gains 2nd Place in U.S. Kyokushin Karate Championships"
Christian Buffaloe, local 16 year old Kyokushin competitor, recently gained 2nd Place in the Teen Division (16yrs) of the "2016 Kyokushin U.S. Karate Championships" in Los Angeles, CA. This prestigious yearly event is sponsored by the International Kyokushin Karate Organization in Tokyo, Japan and features many top competitors from around the World. There were fighters from Japan, Russia, Great Britain, Poland, Canada, and tbe USA.
Christian Buffaloe had the honor of having movie actor and Kyokushin black belt Michael Jai White, a special guest at the tournament, witness his matches and comment favorably on his skills and abilities.
Michael Jai White starred in the the movies "The Dark Knight", "Spawn", "The Mike Tyson Story", "Never Back Down I & II", "Undisputed Truth", and Tyler Perry's "Why Do We Get Married? ".
White's new movie "Never Back Down III" will be released this summer in movie theaters. White promotes the Kyokushin style in his motion pictures.
The "2016 Kyokushin United States Championships" was covered by FUJI-TV, Japan's No. #1 cable TV network and will be broadcast later this month. A professional video production company also filmed the entire event to be released on Dvd later this summer.
