Halifax Academy Varsity hosted Oakwood School Tuesday night to close their home games for the regular season.
Halifax Lady Vikings down by two at the half, battled to take the lead for the first time in the third period. From there it was a back and fourth with the Vikings and Eagles taking turns on top. Both teams were answering with shots and three pointer shots as well. The last 3 minutes had every fan in the stands on their feet. Tied 53-53, Oakwood moved the ball to the inside making the shot at the buzzer to win the game over Halifax 55-53.

Oakwood School leading scorers were: Keira Williams with 19 points, Bianea Lockamy with 18 points, Cate Duncan with 6 points, Kaitlyn Kostrebski with 6 points, Brook Smith with 3 points, J Painter with 3 points. 7 team three pointers
The Halifax boys lost to Oakwood 79-62.
