The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets traveled to play the Bunn Wildcats Tuesday night.

The Roanoke Rapids JV girls fell first, losing to Bunn 23-31.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: Katherine Clayton with 16 points, Kamryn Little with 1 point, Nyia Pierce with 4 point, Reauna Robinson with 2 points.

The Roanoke Rapids JV boys rebounded from their first loss of the season Friday and beat Bunn 48-38.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: KJ Faulcon with 21 points, Quincy Vann with 16 points, Deraj Watson with 8 points, Jack Neville with 3 points.

The Roanoke Rapids Varsity girls lost to Bunn 42-69.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: Alizae Neville with  12 points, Anna Vann with 7 points,  Brionna Gibson with 7 points, Haley Farrow with 1 point, Michelle Stewart with 6 points, Abbi Carpenter with 2 points, Taylor Medlin with 6 points, Brooke McClenny with 1 point.

The Roanoke Rapids Varsity boys also fell to Bunn 75-62.

Roanoke Rapids leading scorers were: Tyjarek Simmons with 16 points, Semaj Smith with 12 points, Dre Terry with 10points.

Post game comments from head coach Tyler Snyder, "It was a close game and then they made some 3-pointers back to back and we had empty possessions.
