Local Roanoke Valley travel softball coaches Mike Hearp and Bobby Martin started the year off teaching.

Both coaches have coached recreation and travel softball in the are for many years and are about to face their own daughters start of their senior year of High school softball on February 15th's first day of practice. But these two took two hours out of their Saturday and put on a softball clinic for the are girls. About 30 girls from the area travel, Middle and High school teams showed up to learn a little about warm-ups, catching, pitching and fielding a softball.
