The second draft plan for the 2017-21 conference realignments for North Carolina High School Athletic Association schools has been released by the NCHSAA.

The NCHSAA realignment committee met this month and has come up with a few chances from the original plan released. The Goal Of The Committee is to align member schools into conferences of like sizes relative to average daily membership and close geographic proximity, with minimizing travel as a primary consideration

Schools will get a chance to review the plan and make appeals in writing for the committee by April 1st.

Once finalized in May 2016, the realignment plan would go in to effect starting with the 2017-18 school year.
