Still looking for former Halifax Academy lady Vikings softball players for the 1st Annual Viking Alumni Slow-Pitch softball game that will benefit Senior Holt Gordon.
Family members are organizing this Alumni softball game for Former Lady Vikings softball player to reunite on Halifax Academy's field with each other and other former players to be played on September 26, 2015 @6PM.
Gordon is entering his Senior year at Halifax Academy and recently lost his mother Lisa Whitby to cancer. Family, Friends & the community are coming together to help Gordon with his finances through his senior year after his mothers death.
So if you played softball at Halifax Academy and would like to play, please feel free to download the registration form and mail with a $15.00 donation before September 5th. Make Checks payable to Halifax Academy & mail to the address on registration.
Players name will be drawn from a hat into two teams that will be coached by current Coach Steve Hamill and former coach Gwen Walton.
Spectators: Gate fee $5 children 12 and under Free.
There will be a plate sale as well starting at 4PM. For a $8 donation you will receive Smoked Pull Pork, Slaw, Boiled Potatoes, Green Beans & Sweet Tea. There will be Hamburgers for sale as well.
