The Roanoke Valley Under 12 all-star girls softball team are headed to the North Carolina Little Tarheel League State Championship Sunday.

The still undefeated all-star team beat Zebulon 12-7 Saturday morning in Clayton and will play in the Championship game Sunday at Noon in Smithfield.

Cassidy Dickens pitched all six innings with one strike-out and gave up one walk.

At the plate for the Roanoke Valley girls were: Cassidy Dickens had two singles, a double & 3 RBI's, Lizze Colston had a single, a double & 2 RBI's, Lily Curtis had a single, a double & 2 RBI's, Kelsey Bierbauer had a walk & hit by pitch, Caitlin Bobbitt had a single & a RBI, Makayla Pair had two singles, Taylor Kelly had a single & a double, Lilly Chappell had a single & a walk, while Meagan Beam had a single & a walk.
