The Roanoke Rapids based U12 RV Powers 02 travel girls travel softball team played two full weekends of ball in the month of June.
RV Powers 03 played in the "USSSA State Warm Up Tournament" June 6-7 in Rocky Mount. After playing two pool games and were seeded number 4 after a loss to Pitt County Crushers (02) and a win against Carolina Rippers (02).
The First bracket game was a 10-2 win against #5 seeded South Wake Storm, while the second bracket game was a 5-6 loss to #1 seeded Pitt County Crushers. They then beat #6 seed Carolina Rippers 13-2, then beat South Wake Storm again 15-1. The girls then lost to the #3 seed Cleveland Angels (02) 5-6, finishing with a third place for the weekend.

RV Powers 02 played Top Gun "NC Powerade State Games" at Walnut Creek Softball Complex in Raleigh June 20-21. The girls played Lake Norman Lightning in first pool game and lost 9-1, then defeated Yak Fastpitch in the next pool game 9-5. The team was seeded number 5 in the gold bracket and played their third game on Saturday at 3:30 against #4 seed High Point Rockers, won 12-5. They then played their fourth game on Sat. at 6:30 against #1 seed Team TFS Daye 12u and won 4-2.
Sunday morning game one was against #3 seed LKN Lightning again and a loss of 11-1, played #4 seed HP Rockers again and won 6-2, then immediately following that game the girls headed into the championship to play #3 seed and undefeated LKN Lightning. RV powers won the game 7-6 after tying the game in seven innings and playing an extra (8th) inning. But do to the fact LKN Lightning was undefeated there was an one inning shoot out and RV Powers 02 and lost by one run finishing the weekend in second place.
