RV opens District with double header.
The Roanoke Valley U14 girls softball All-stars opened Little League District 4 tournament Tuesday night in back in Windsor against Ahoskie All-stars.
The RV U14 team won 14-1 against Ahoskie in game one.
Lauren Oliver had 6 strike outs on the mound.,
At the plate for RV: Haley Farrow went 4 for 4, Megan Colston went 2 for 4, Lauren Oliver went 2 for 4 while Sidney Smith went 2 for 4.
Now on to game two.
