RRHS loses to Bunn by a score of 4-2.

Ryan Williams pitched the complete game to take the loss.  He gave up only 5 hits and struck out 6 batters.

Leading Hitters for RRHS:  Logan Simonowich had 2 hits and 1 RBI.  Kyle Vincent had 2 hits and 1 run scored.  Hunter Whitmire had 1 hit and 1 RBI.  Nick Horvath had 1 hit and 1 run scored.

"This was a playoff atmosphere tonight.  This was a heck of a game between two good teams.  Ryan pitched well tonight and kept us in the game all the way until the end.  We hit the ball better than we have the last couple of weeks, but just couldn't get the big hit with runners in scoring position.  I really liked the team spirit we had tonight.  Now it is time to get ready for the playoffs.  It is time for us to step up and play the way we know we can play.  I like the make-up of our team and know we will be ready," said coach Mark Snead

RRHS finishes the regular season with an overall record of 12-7 and 9-5 in the conference.  The Yellow Jackets finished 3rd in the conference standings.  The State Playoffs begin on Wednesday May 14th.  The preliminary brackets show that RRHS would travel to face Edenton Holmes High School.
