Candice Smith and Abbie Carpenter were part of the Heart breakers Travel softball team win this past weekend.
Smith, a Freshman at Halifax Academy and Carpenter, a eighth grader at Chaloner Middle are players on the Greenville based travel softball team called Heart breakers.
The team played in Greenville Saturday and Sunday in the "NC USSSA May Showdown" tournament and won the U14 division.
