The Hobgood Academy JV baseball refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Ridgecroft, recording an 11-1 victory on Wednesday at Home.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the JV Raiders left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Davis Harrell, an RBI single by Wade Johnson, an RBI double by Davis Dobson, an error, a two-run double by Tay Mosely, and an RBI single by Caleb Whitleyduring the first inning fueled the JV Raiders offense early.

Hobgood's Mosely was perfect at the plate, going 3-3.

David Harrell recorded the win for the Hobgood, he allowed one run over two innings and struck out four, walked four and gave up no hits.

The JV Raiders tacked on another two runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Whitley singled, bringing home Mosely to kick things off.

The JV Raiders got one-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, they scored on an RBI double by Whitley, scoring Mosely.
