Chaloner Middle softball beats the rain and Wyatt Middle Friday

In a non-conference game Friday, Emporia VA's Wyatt Middle made to trip across the state line. Chaloner won 8 - 0.

Kimberly Etheridge was winning pitcher for Chaloner pitching a complete 7 inning allowing only 1 hit.

At the plate for Chaloner: Bethany Lassiter went 3 - 4 with 2 singles and hit by a pitch, Kimberly Etheridge went 3 - 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, Abbey Acree went 3 - 4 with a triple, double, and a single, Kaitlin Rogerson went 2 - 4 with a triple and a walk.

Chaloner advances to a 3-0 overall record and next scheduled game is at home Monday March 31st against Conway.
