Roanoke Rapids softball offense too much for Southern Vance
Roanoke Rapids shut the door early on Southern Vance, capturing an 11-1 victory Friday afternoon in five innings.
Five runs in the first three innings allowed Yellow Jackets to put the game away early.
An RBI single by Sierra Hearp and a groundout by Jordan Carpenter during the first inning and a steal of home by Brooke McClenny in the second inning fueled Yellow Jackets' offense early.
