Jordan DeLoatch played little league and middle school baseball in Roanoke Rapids and now is a Junior at UNC Pembroke. Jordan is the son of Kenny DeLoatch of Roanoke Rapids.

The Former Roanoke Rapids resident DeLoatch (3-0) struck out seven and strewed four hits and three runs (one earned) over five solid innings from the hill to grab the win for the UNC Pembroke Braves Thursday, while Zach Andrews registered the last out of the contest to pick up his second save of the season. Tyler Burden (0-2) yielded 10 earned runs on as many hits in just three innings from the mound to take the loss for Chowan.
