College Coaches are restricted by the NCAA and its rules governing recruiting, to only recruit during certain portions of the year, all during the off-season's of their calendars. This encompasses a small window of time in the summer, and a larger period in the Fall. This is when all or most of the College Exposure Events will be put on called “Showcase “.

The Lightning team played in the Ray Chandler Memorial Showcase in Rock Hill, SC Oct. 26-27 and and Allen hit two over the fence home runs

Then the Lightning team played in the ASA Diamond Wounded Warrior Tournament in Fayetteville NC this past weekend Nov. 9-10. Allen also hit two over the fence home runs.

Since July 2011 Allen has a total of 21 home runs in tournament and High school play.

The Lightning team travels to Myrtle Beach SC this weekend to play in the World Fastpitch Connection Early Signing Showcase.
