Richmond Rampage close 2013 season as Champions

 

Roanoke Rapids resident and Chaloner Middle school eight grade softball player Kim Etheridge has been playing girls travel softball with the Richmond based Richmond Rampage U-14 team.

 

This past weekend the Richmond Rampage placed as Champions in the Softball Nation “End of Season Show Stopper” in Virginia Beach, VA.

 

Etheridge pitched pitched 1 game on Saturday, winning then she came in last game on Saturday for the last two innings with one run scoring off her.

On Sunday she pitched first game that turn out to be a no hitter. In the second game on Sunday, she came in as closer winning that game. Then she pitched the last 3 innings championship game.

Etheridge hit a 3 run home run in the park during the championship game.

 

The team finished with a 4-2 overall record winning the CHAMPIONSHIP.
