KIPP High softball coach came home, got a win and girls make a visit all in one day

KIIP High Varsity softball coach Mike Newsome who suffered a mild stroke three weeks ago, was released from WakeMed Rehab hospital today. His team hosted a strong Gates County team sns brought hom the win 5-4. Then later in the evening the girls made a trip over to see their coach.
Coach Newsome who is restricted to a wheel chair now is home resting. When asked how long it could be , he stated "The doctors do not know, it could heal in a week or a month" "I am just thankful to the good loard I am stil here," he added.
