Ultimate Cheer
This past weekend The Roanoke Rapids own "Ultimate Cheer" competed at Broughton High School for their final competition in Raleigh, NC. Ultimate Cheer sent their Mini and Youth teams to compete in Prep divisions, which are new and designed for teams who practice less than 2 hours a week but still follow the same USASF rules and regulations.
The Mini and Youth teams showcased their best performance of the season and were awarded 2nd and 1st places respectively.
The small senior level 2 team competed in the Standard division against 2 large level 2 teams. After making several changes to their routine, they performed a nearly perfect routine and placed 2nd! “Proud doesn’t even describe how I feel about my teams after our first year of competition! We went to well-known competitions and held our own. We were able to apply the comments given by the judges to each new performance and make them better! We plan to take what we’ve learned this season and continuously grow in the upcoming years” said Jessica Clements, coach and owner of Ultimate Cheer.
