Both Halifax Academy girls team win, boys lose

Halifax Academy JV girls beat Rocky Mount Academy 23-19. Leading scorers for Halifax were Drew Rose and Jordan Strickland both with 9 points and Candice Smith with 3 points.

Halifax Academy JV boys lost to Rocky Mount Academy 69-37. Leading scorers for Halifax were Reid Lynch with 12 points and Ryan Hockaday with 11 points.

Halifax Academy Varsity girls beat Rocky Mount Academy 54-28. Leading scorers for Halifax were Kelly Williams with 23 points, Haley Wood and Jamie Harris both each had 10 points each.

Halifax Academy Varsity boys lost to  Rocky Mount Academy 46-55. Leading scorers for Halifax were Holden Strickland with 19 points, Austin Starnes and Cody Carmichael both had 7 points. Player Garrett Morris is out rest of the season with an ankle injury.
