Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12(b)(2), public notice is hereby given that the Halifax County Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room on the second floor of Historic Halifax County Courthouse, 10 North King Street, Halifax, NC.

Purpose of Meeting

Pursuant to G.S. 160D-604(c), the Planning Board will review and comment on the proposed update to the Halifax-Northampton Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The public is invited to attend the meeting. A copy of the plan is available for public review at this link 

Upon request Halifax County will provide reasonable accommodation and service for any qualified disabled person who desires to attend the meeting.
