NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with the North Carolina General Statute §143-318.12 that the Tuesday, January 20, 2026 Regular Meeting of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners scheduled to begin at 5:30 P. M. in the Halifax County Historic Courthouse meeting venue has changed to the Hollister Elementary Leadership Academy located at 37432 NC-561, Hollister, North Carolina.
The January 5, 2026 regular meeting of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the board of commissioners meeting room located on the second floor of the Halifax County Historic Courthouse, located at 10 North King Street, Halifax.
The January 6, 2026 Board of Elections will be held at 1:00 P.M. in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Halifax Historic Courthouse at 10 North King St, Halifax, North Carolina.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Governor’s Volunteer Service Award.
