Roanoke Rapids Public Library will begin accepting registrations for its Summer Learning Program on Thursday, June 3.  

The program will begin Thursday, June 10.  

Readers must be entering the first through the eighth grade to participate.  

Registered readers will receive book and time logs to record their summer reading materials.  Readers who meet the goal of reading three books or reading 120 minutes will qualify for prizes if they submit their book and time logs by the conclusion of the workday on Friday, July 16.  Activity sheets will be available each week from June 10 to July 7.  

Registered readers will need to complete three of five activities on the provided sheet to be eligible for additional prizes.
