Tillmon trial continued to May

United States Senior Judge Malcolm J. Howard signed an order today moving the Operation Rockfish trial of Antonio Tillmon to May 15.

Recently redacted transcripts of detention hearings for four defendants in the Operation Rockfish police corruption case show in addition to a warehouse in Rocky Mount, the Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport was often used in the operation.

Vincent sentencing moved to June

The sentencing of Wardie Vincent Jr., the first defendant in Operation Rockfish to take a plea, has been moved to the court’s June 13 term.

As his sentencing date draws close, the attorney for the first Operation Rockfish defendant to plead guilty in the case is seeking a variance in his client’s punishment.
