Skipper sentenced in '17 federal child porn case

A Roanoke Rapids man who last year was indicted on federal child pornography counts was sentenced to 70 months in prison last week, according to court records.

The man who allegedly robbed PNC Bank in December was remanded to the custody of United States Marshals today after breaking terms of his previous federal release.

A Roanoke Rapids man charged on federal child pornography counts will remain in custody until his detention hearing, court records show.

A 30-year-old Roanoke Rapids man is scheduled for an initial appearance Thursday in federal court in Greenville after a true bill of indictment was returned earlier this month on multiple counts of receiving and possessing child pornography.
