A Monday night chase which began on Julian R. Allsbrook Highway near Premier Boulevard ended in the arrest of two men and the seizure of heroin.

A Winston-Salem man was arrested today for reportedly throwing a bag over a fence at Caledonia Correctional Institution which contained cell phones, tobacco and a variety of drugs including sexual dysfunction dosage units.
The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reported an arrest in a January 9 assault and the City County Drug Task Force reported heroin was found wrapped in a lottery ticket following a Monday night traffic stop.
The City County Drug Task Force is seeking a man after warrants were filed for his arrest today for possession of Oxycodone and Suboxone strips.
The City County Drug Task Force made arrests in Roanoke Rapids and Hollister Friday.
