One of the 15 charged in the Operation Rockfish police corruption sting will be allowed release from pretrial detention, the docket call in the federal court record shows.

“The court enters an order setting conditions of release as to Tosha Dailey,” the record filed today says. “Defendant Dailey will be released from the custody of the U.S. Marshal upon notice to the U.S. Probation Office that requirements set out in the order setting conditions of release have been satisfied.”

Meanwhile, eight of those charged will remain in federal custody.

“The court finds as to defendants Lann Tjuan Clanton, Ikeisha Jacobs, Jason Boone, Wardie Vincent Jr., Jimmy Pair Jr., Curtis Boone, Alphonso Ponton and Thomas Jefferson Allen II, by clear and convincing evidence, that there is no condition or set of conditions to reasonably assure the safety of the community if defendants were to be released before trial and by the preponderance of the evidence that there is no condition or set of conditions to reasonably assure the appearance of the defendants if they were to be released before trial.”

The others charged in the case — Adrienne Moody, Antonio Tillmon, Alaina Kamling, Crystal Pierce, Cory Jackson and Kavon Phillips — will have their detention hearings Friday.
