The board of education this evening approved the plan, making March 27 a school day. It was originally a teacher work day.
The plan approved makes June 10 the last day of school. It was previously June 9.
June 15 becomes an optional teacher work day.
“Going forward any missed days would be made up on Saturdays,” RRGSD Superintendent Dennis Sawyer said in a statement. "We also have one additional day in our calendar, April 21, that is currently designated as an early release day that could become a full instructional day should it become necessary."
