Lieutenant Anzell Harris of the sheriff's office said Mills, 36, is considered to be dangerous and anyone who encounters him should contact authorities.
Mills, who was on federal supervision imposed by Senior U.S. District Court Judge Earl Britt in August of 2006, is believed to possibly frequent the Greensboro area from time to time, Harris said.
The search for Mills comes after he made bond following his February 12 arrest in the Lincoln Heights community on felony marijuana charges.
The U.S. Court system obtained copies of the warrants from the February drug raid to file the federal arrest warrant for Mills, who faces a five-year prison sentence if found in revocation of his release arrangement.
Harris said he believes Mills is still in the drug game. “Since we picked him up we haven't had anymore calls. He hasn't been seen in the Roanoke Valley area.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call Halifax County Central Communications at 252-583-1991 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
