On Friday at approximately 4:15 p.m., Lieutenant P. Parks conducted a traffic stop on West Chaloner Drive and Sunset Avenue for a violation.

During the stop a passenger, Nicholas Everette Pierce, 26, of Littleton, was arrested on an outstanding order for arrest and was found in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.   

Pierce was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and served the order for arrest.

He received a total bond of $1,300 and a November 14 court date.   

The driver was cited for the traffic violations and released.

On Saturday at approximately 11:45 p.m., Parks conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Julian R. Allsbrook Highway.

Narcotics, paraphernalia and a handgun were located.  

Anthony Jerod Harris, 54, of Roanoke Rapids, was arrested and charged with possession of oxycodone, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked.

He received a $2,000 bond and August 3 court date.  

Lionel Thomas Bynum, 31, of Houston,Texas, was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He received a $3,000 bond and August 3 court date.

On Sunday at approximately 4:15 a.m., officers conducted a license checking station on Old Farm Road at Downsbrook Drive.

Khevon Saadiq Weaver, 20, of Weldon, came through and had numerous outstanding warrants and orders for arrest.

He was found in possession of narcotics.  

Cross arrested and charged Weaver with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle and he was served warrants for assault on a female, assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats, larceny, possession of stolen goods and served three outstanding orders for arrest.  

He received a total bond of $31,300 and an August 1 court date.

On Sunday at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were conducting foot patrols in the area of Oakridge Drive when they encountered several people standing around a vehicle.

Officers could smell the odor of marijuana.  

After further investigation, officers found marijuana and paraphernalia.

Green arrested and charged Michael Drequan Daniel, 21, of Roanoke Rapids, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He received a $1,000 bond and July 23 court date.

Cross and Officer C. Hagbourne assisted.

On Sunday at approximately 11 p.m., officers were conducting a warrant service in the 1500 block of Patsy Albritton Street when they located Christopher Antron Bowser, 35, of Roanoke Rapids, and found him in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.  

Hagbourne arrested and charged Bowser with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and served a warrant for assault on a female.  

Bowser was held without opportunity for bond and has an August 3 court date.
