The Roanoke Rapids Varsity boys beat the Franklinton Red Rams at the buzzer lay-up by Dre' Terry with the 65-64 score on Senior night. 

Roanoke Rapids Stats:

Tyjarek Simmons, Dre Terry, Tyraybiya Kearney all with 15 points each and Paul Whitby had 14 points.

Post game comments from Roanoke Rapids head coach Tyler Snyder, "What a great game to be a part of. It had everything, momentum swings to last second buzzer beater. We started out really well and took an early lead but they came right back after halftime to take the lead. We were down 4 with 20 seconds left when we hit a 3 to go down 1. We fouled and they missed the front end of a 1 and 1 and we got the rebound and I called timeout. I drew up a play hoping they wouldn't switch but they did so it turned into someone making a play. Dre got the inbounds and took it from half court and made a layup at the buzzer. The atmosphere was crazy and I'm extremely proud of they guys and the fight they had all night. Franklinton is a good game and very well coached."
