Rick Springfield closed his concert with his hit signature song Jessie's Girl Friday night at the event that kicked off Weldon Mills 2nd Annual Bourbon Festival Friday night at the Weldon Mills Theatre presented by Barnburner Promotions.

The seventy-five year old Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance Australian-American musician Rick Springfield rocked the packed Weldon Mills Théâtre Friday night singing new and old songs. Springfield closed the night off with his in both Australia and the US 1981 No. 1 hit "Jessie's Girl",

The Friday night show was the kickoff for Saturday's 2nd Annual Weldon Mills Bourbon Festival which is scheduled with five shows on the stage. Gates open at 2pm with DJ Dank, 2:30pm Local Sons of Earl hit the stage, 4pm local band The Cove take the stage. Davidson Brothers follow at 5:30pm, Frank Foster at 7pm and The Steel Woods closed the night off starting at 9pm.
