Sarah was the daughter of the late Herbert Lee “H. L.” Hasty, Sr. and Sudie Davis Hasty. She was also preceded in death by her sister Sally Hasty Duffy.
She is survived by her husband Norfleet White, her son Russell White and his wife Brenda of Seaboard, two grandsons, Jim White and Lee White both of Raleigh and her great granddaughter, Barrett White of Raleigh, her brother, H.L. Hasty, Jr., and his wife, Bonnie of Courtland, Virginia and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2 P.M. at Seaboard Baptist Church in Seaboard.
Interment will follow in Seaboard Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
Memorial donations may be made to Seaboard Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
