RRPD seeks three in separate Friday crimes

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is looking for three people wanted in different crimes which occurred on Friday.

Chief Chuck Hasty said in a statement the three men are encouraged to come forward, surrender to the police department and take care of the matters.
He also encouraged anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the police department at 252-533-2810 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
Those wanted are:
Trenton Ke-Sean Harvey, 18, of Roanoke Rapids, for obtaining property by false pretense, larceny and possession of stolen goods.
At approximately 1 p.m.,Harvey allegedly took items from Walmart, returned to the store and attempted to get a refund.
Sergeant M. Peck worked with Walmart loss prevention to identify Harvey and obtain warrants.

Daquinn Blount, 21, of Gaston is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and injury to property.
At approximately 10 p.m., Blount allegedly fired a weapon into an occupied vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of Southgate Drive.
The victim was able to drive away uninjured and contact law enforcement.
Officer G. Colson and investigators identified Blount and obtained warrants.

Frederick Lee Holiday 42, of Roanoke Rapids, is wanted for flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, hit and run, resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and aggressive driving.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. Officer J. Mason attempted to stop a vehicle for a violation on Hinson Street but the driver fled.
The driver lost control of the vehicle near Creek Side Court and struck another vehicle.
The driver fled afterward.
During the investigation narcotics and paraphernalia were recovered from the car as well as other evidence which helped identify Holiday as the driver.
