Three teenagers have been charged in several vehicle break-ins which occurred during the late night period Tuesday and early this morning.

Roanoke Rapids police Chief Chuck Hasty said this afternoon it is believed the vehicles were unsecured and an assortment of items, including change, laptops and sunglasses were taken.
Even after the arrests of Seleen Salik Moore, 17; Charles Ryan Gage Hux, 18, and Aaron Ray Scott, 17, additional reports of vehicle break-ins were reported occurring within the same timeframe and same general locations, Hasty said.
The vehicle break-ins were reported in the area of Harvest and Dunshill roads, Live Oak Place and Appleton Streets.
The arrests came after Officer Hannah Grimes and Master Officer Roy Ball located the teens around 6:15 a.m. today. They were near the area where the vehicle break-in reports were received. They were taken into custody after items taken from the vehicles were recovered, Hasty said in a statement.
Officer Matt Hunsucker charged the trio with six counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle; four counts of larceny and four counts of possession of stolen goods.
They received $15,000 bonds and September 14 court dates.
Investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
.Officers Jamie Hardy and Scott Blythe assisted.
