The RRHS Varsity Baseball team picked up their second win in two days with a 17-8 road win at the North Carolina School of Science and Math.

Josh Elias earned the win on the mound. Tyler Shearin, Nick Horvath, and Cameron Rogerson also pitched for the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets offense pounded out 14 hits from 10 different batters on the day.

Head coach Mark Snead stated, "We lost some focus today on defense, but we made up for it on offense. I really liked the way we approached our at bats during the game. Now we must put in some hard work at practice to get ready for our regular season finale against Southern Vance."

With the win RRHS improves to 16-4 overall and 11-2 in the Northern Carolina Conference.

The Yellow Jackets return to action next Tuesday May 3rd against Southern Vance. RRHS will honor their seven seniors that night. Game time is set for 6pm.
