Hawkins, Balmer file for respective BOE seats

Incumbent Halifax County School Board member Carolyn Hawkins and incumbent Weldon City Schools Board member Barbara Balmer are the latest to file for the March 15 primary.

Incumbent Halifax board members Debbie Hardy and Donna Hunter have yet to file.

Incumbent Weldon board members Hugh Credle and Alberta Greene have yet to file as the Monday deadline approaches.
