Halifax girls win, boys fall at home

Halifax Academy hosted Crossroads Christian school in JV Boys, Varsity  girls and boys in conference basketball Tuesday night.

Halifax Lady Vikings rebounded from their first lost of the season and beat Crossroads 59-23.

 

Leading scorers for Halifax were:

Kelly Williams with 22 points

Kiarra Carter with 10 points

Candice Smith with 10 points

Drew Rose with 6 points

Sydney Smith with 6 points

Brooke Robertson with 5 points

Kate Starnes with 2 points

 

 

Halifax JV boys lost to Crossroads.

 

Leading scorers for Halifax were:

Thomas Garret with 5 points

Eli Harris with 4 points

Harrison Hardee with 3 points

Conner Lynch with 1 point

 

 

Halifax Academy Varsity boys also lost to Crossroads.

Grant Morris with 21 points

Reid Lynch with 8 points

Will Cooke with 4 points

Jackson Harris with 4 points

 

Halifax travels to Ridgecroft Academy Wednesday.
