Camera system helps lead to B&E counts

An Enfield man was arrested Saturday after being caught on camera during a breaking and entering.

Enfield police Chief Tyree Davis said in a statement Sergeant Chris Exum and Officer Willie Hammiel responded to a report of breaking and entering on Church Street.
The officers learned cameras were on the property. After processing the scene and using the other information gathered, Exum charged Daquan Whitaker, 22, with two counts of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen goods and injury to personal property.
He received a $2,000 bond and September 21 court date.
