The #23 seed  Roanoke Rapids High School Lady Yellow Jackets Volleyball team won their first round in the 2A NCHSAA Dtate Playoffs.

#23 seed Roanoke Rapids beat #10 seed North Lenoir 3-1 matches (13-25, 25-22, 26-24, and 25-22). 

The Lady Jackets will now travel to #7 seed South Columbus for a second round match-up on Thursday.
