The Halifax Academy JV Lady Vikings opened their 2023 season at home with a 17-0 shut out against Pungo in three innings.

Halifax scored 17 runs off nine hits. Scarlet Harris and Adalyn Hudson both went 2 for 2 at the plate while Hudson had four RBI's. Karson Ricks and Payton Odom went 1 for 1.

Peyton Odom started in the circle for Halifax pitching one inning allowing one hit and striking out 3 batters. Scarlett Harris pitched two innings allowing one hit and striking out four batters.
