Lady Venom 14u wins gold bracket in Clayton tourney

The '07 Lady Venom 14u team played in a tournament last weekend in Clayton, coming in first place in the gold bracket.

The team was led to victory with the pitching of Shaelyn Johnson and Madison Jones and the catching of Lydia Carroll and Shandi Byrum.

All girls turned on the bats to bring the title home

The team is coached by Sean Johnson and Darrin Whitley.
